Kotimaiset Energiat Oy is one of the biggest company in Finland producing forest chips with annual production of 1,200,000 l-m3 in 2011. Our fleet consists of 14 Giant Drum Chippers and 15 trucks with a total workforce of 40 people. Subcontracting is also used to match the need of industry and smaller clients.
The company is proud of the very high quality of the produced chips which are suitable for both big industrial boilers and smaller farm usage. Close co-operation with LHM Hakkuri Oy has guaranteed constant development in chipper technology. This resulted in the construction of the first powerful Giant Drum Chipper in 2000. The latest four Giants, which were manufactured mainly in 2010, are using top technology in chipping business.
